Project Description
This project was for my post graduation and it was published in the end.
In 1923, José Camelo de Melo Rezende created a story about a countess that used to be locked up by her father and only be able to look outside once a year. This was also a story about a man in love, that to rescue the countess from her prison built a flying machine with a shape of a peacock.
The Characters
To recreate the characters I had to research 2 countries: Turkey & Greece. All characters had dark hair and they were similar builds.
The capitals
Every page was opened by a capital made using calligraphy tecniques.
Since this project was completed, I became a full digital artist.
If you need papercut illustrations, but digital, fill the form below and let’s work together!
